Overview

Congratulations to Atlantic Christian Boys and Girls Varsity Programs who both brought home the league championship trophies this year.  While the girls team made history by  being the first girls team to win the championship in any sport, the boys continued a lasting tradition of excellence, winning their 4th straight league title.  Additional memorable moments from the 09-10 season included the ACS girls defeating EHT and bringing home the Valley Forge Trophy, and the ACS boys defeating Holy Spirit and the U-19 Chinese National Team.  Certain individuals reached milestones this year as well.  Seniors Derek Puhalski and Jodi Kelley both reached their 1000th career point this season while junior Maryah Coleman reached her 500th rebound.  All-stars for the girls team were Jodi Kelley and Shereesha Richards on the 1st team and Maryah Coleman on the 2nd team.  All-stars for the boys were Deshon Minnis and Luke Piotrowski on the 1st team and Jalen Armstead on the second team.  Senior Derek Puhalski was also named 09-10 TSCAC MVP this year.

Congratulations to both teams on such an exciting season. We are already looking forward to what next year will bring!
