Bus Transportation

May be provided by local boards of education, based on budget and ridership issues, for those living more than 2 miles, but less than 20 miles from school. If a bus is not provided, parents are entitled to a payment in lieu of transportation from their local board of education.

Classroom Aides

Aides support teachers in PreK-5th grades. Atlantic Christian also welcomes parents who wish to volunteer to assist in the classroom. The Parent Teacher Fellowship provides Room Parents who assist with social activities and school outings.

Extended Care

Extended Care is available before school (from 7:30-8:30 a.m.) and after school (from 3:15-5:30 p.m.) to all enrolled students for a fee. A paid staff member oversees Extended Care and snacks are provided.

Lunch

Students may bring their own lunch or purchase lunch from the school. Hot  and cold lunches are available and cost $3.50 for a complete meal. A pre-paid lunch card must be used to purchase lunch. Lunch cards are issued in denominations of $17.50 and $35.00. Each student must have his/her own lunch card. Classroom teachers maintain the cards and place the daily lunch orders.
