The Upper School years are a crucial time in the development of each student. They are a time when parents, the church, and the school need to work together to mold convictions, ideas, and priorities that will influence young lives for eternity.
Teaching students how to apply the lessons of Scripture to current events and the moral and ethical issues of today is a key component of the Upper School Bible curriculum. Scripture memorization is also promoted to equip students with the knowledge of God’s Word to face the many challenges in their daily lives and to be effective witnesses for Christ.
Students gain valuable practical experience in church ministry by carrying out a service project each year in their home churches.
Outstanding Christian textbooks are used to present every subject from a Biblical perspective, including the required New Jersey courses in such subjects as language arts, mathematics, foreign language, science, and history. Honors Level and College Preparatory classes provide students with additional opportunities to excel.
To graduate, students are required to take four years of Bible, English, life skills, and physical education/health; three years of history, math, and science; two years of computers and a foreign language; and one year of art.
